High End Bay Window PricesExplore high end bay windows prices and get cost breakdowns on the bay window unit itself, installation pricing and complete project costs.
Premium Bay WindowsHigh-end bay windows will almost always come from a high end manufacturer such as Marvin, Andersen, Loewen, Kolbe etc. Most of these window units will use a wood interior (the actual type of wood will vary according to the manufacturer) with an exterior cladding of either vinyl, fiberglass or aluminum. This isn't always the case, some bay units will be all wood, in which case there will be much more maintenance required over the years in order to preserve the quality of the exterior wood. Homeowners can expect lots of upgrades and options at this price point; movable windows on the two sides, which might include casements, double-hung or single-hungs that allows for easy cleaning and ventilation options. There should be a variety of exterior frame finishes and colors (assuming there is an exterior cladding), a high end double pane glass package and very nice metal hardware.
Installation CostsInstallation on higher end units is usually more expensive than the mid range or entry level products for a few reasons. Most high end manufacturers recommend certified installers, meaning the installers have a very good working knowledge of the company products and the installation requirements - this insures proper installation and usually a higher hourly charge for the two to three person installation crew. High end projects tend to be more customized so the bay window might be installed on site, which usually means more detailed work and more of it. Our price range is just an estimate of course and high end bay windows might simply require the old unit to be taken out and the new one to be inserted, which should run much less.
Completed Project CostCompleted high end bay window projects will typically run from $3,000 to $5,000 or more for the bay window unit, all installation materials and the cost of all labor.
